Phone SysDial Directory

Overview

The Phone SysDial Directory is a directory of numbers that are stored on the server side of IntellaSoft platform. When a phone is a picked up and a number associated with actual full number is dialed (whether it is an extension, or an outside number) the system will dial said number automatically. This is useful for dialing commonly used external phone numbers. These are often to refereed to as "Short Codes."

Adding a Phone SysDial "Short Code"

Navigate to the Phone SysDial Directory via the Navigation Panel. Click the New Sysdial Number button.

Several box forms will appear, start by giving a Name to the short code. This should be relevant to whom the number is associated with. Next enter the Number that the short code should be dialing, this can be an internal Extension, or it can be outside phone number. Lastly enter a number for the short code in the box Sysdial Code, this the number the user will dial when attempting to call the full Number associated with the short code.

When you are satisfied with your selection, click Save New SysDial Code, otherwise click Cancel. If you saved you will see a message stating Changes saved. The final results will look similar to the one below. Keep in mind if you enter a 10 digit external phone number, it will automatically format the phone number to include the area code in parenthesis followed by the local number..
